Scott is a licensed professional engineer in both civil engineering and naval architecture with over twenty years of design and analysis experience. Scott grew up on the southern Oregon coast with a family involved in construction, charter fishing, and education. He is an Oregon State University graduate with a doctorate in engineering. Scott also provides expert witness services as a forensic engineer and often testifies in court regarding construction issues, structural failures, and building code topics.
